HOME TO COMMUNITY

Offer one to one support for clients within the home, assisting with a range of everyday tasks. Or connect clients with the wider community by providing support going to the supermarket, library, using public transport.

WEEKEND GETAWAYS

Located at the beautiful Balnarring Beach on the Mornington Peninsula come and spend a weekend away supporting clients to explore the shared grounds, playground, activity centre and
everything else Presentation Family Centre has to offer.

SCHOOL LEAVER EMPLOYMENT SUPPORTS (SLES)

Get involved in our School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) program. Through this program support workers assist people to live a more independent, fulfilling life and open up new
opportunities for growth and self-awareness. We are strongly committed to providing individuals with the support they need to gather skills to move towards employment in the future. Program
based at our SASI Seaford Hub.

SATURDAY RECREATION

Join us on Saturdays for a group-based program of exploration, recreation and fun. These activities aim to meet a range of interests and abilities and run from 10am to 4pm every Saturday.
Activities may include, bowling, movies and picnics. Clients are supported to purchase tickets, navigate public transport and use a Myki.

About us:

SASI has been providing a range of support services to people, families and community members    children and adults living with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or other complex disabilities for over 50 years. Services include accommodation, day services, community-based recreation and respite, online services, communication support, goal mastery as well as positive behaviour support plus therapy and clinical services.

What you will need:

  • Must have an NDIS Check, Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain
  • Certificate IV Disability (you can gain this whilst working with us) or significant lived experience working with people with Autism
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • COVID vaccinations, including booster
  • Evidence of work eligibility if applicable
