SASI’s Seaford Hub

Have you visited SASI’s Seaford Hub yet? If not, you are missing out. The hub offers a range of fun activities for adults over 18 who have ASD or a physical or an intellectual disability.

When you walk into SASI’s Seaford Hub you will find lots of vibrancy and colour. As you head across to the art room and you will be greeted by our friendly art teacher and will see many works of art created by clients.

Wander down to the kitchen and café where your tastebuds will be tantalised with the smells of delicious food cooking as clients participate in the cooking program. More often than not you’ll find our cooking teacher and a few clients whipping up something yummy for lunch.

For another assault on your sensors head around the corner to the Games Hub. If you love tech, you’ll love the set-up of this space, so much so that you may not want to leave. Pop on the VR Goggles and visit another world or get physical with a VR boxing activity that will leave you a little hot under the collar.

If that’s not enough, the outside space has a veggie garden and a chicken run providing fresh produce for the kitchen. It’s also a peaceful space to relax and enjoy the sun and take a bit of quiet time.

There really is plenty to do as part of SASI’s Active Choice , with all programs offering an individual focus highlighting the gifts and talents of each and every client. The programs are designed to develop communication, social interaction and independent living skills.

Programs are run by qualified staff who are experienced in working with people with disability and are passionate about what they do.
